Master Information Pack for Leaders and Adult Volunteers

As we continue preparations for Chamboree 2026, we’re pleased to confirm that the Master Information Pack for Leaders and Adult Volunteers is now available.

The pack has been produced to help volunteers, leaders and teams understand how we communicate about Chamboree, how to make the most of local and social media opportunities, and how we can all work together to tell the story of one of the UK’s largest international Scout and Guide camps.

Whether you’re helping to promote participant experiences, sharing volunteer stories, supporting recruitment, or celebrating milestones in the lead-up to the event, the pack provides guidance and resources to help you do so confidently and consistently.

What’s included?

The Information Pack contains guidance on:

  • Communications expectations and responsibilities
  • Social media best practice
  • Working with local media
  • Photography and content considerations

Helping us tell the Chamboree story

Chamboree is only possible because of the incredible volunteers, leaders and young people who make the event what it is. By sharing stories, photos and achievements from across the county, we can help showcase the impact of Scouting and Guiding and build excitement as we count down to August 2026.

If you have any communications questions or would like support promoting your area of the event, please get in touch with the Media Team.

Together, let’s make sure the story of Chamboree 2026: It’s Going To Be Wild reaches as many people as possible.
