Saturday is split into two exciting halves, giving participants the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities across the site.
Groups will be allocated one programme during the morning and the other during the afternoon.

The Energy of the Skies
This part of the day is all about action, movement and adventure.
Expect high-energy challenges where young people can test themselves, build confidence and have plenty of fun.

🌍 Terra
The Richness of the Earth
This part of the day begins with a visit to the Animal Kingdom Circus before opening up a world of creativity, discovery and learning.

- Explore (STEM)
- Discover (Skills for Life)
🔄 How It Works
- Participants are free to explore activities within their allocated programme area.
- There will be far more activities available than can be completed in a single session.
- Leaders may wish to plan a loose route to make the most of the available time.
- It will not be possible to do everything — and that’s part of the Chamboree experience.
🌟 Sunday Exclusive Experience
Cubs and Brownies will enjoy a dedicated activity experience designed exclusively for Mini-Chamboree Weekend participants.
Taking place on a Cubs & Brownies activity field, this session provides even more opportunities to explore, create, learn and challenge themselves before the weekend concludes.
🐾 Activities may include
- Animal Kingdom VR Experience – step into immersive wildlife environments using virtual reality.
- RSPCA Educational Outreach – learn about animal care and welfare.
- Birds of Prey Display – watch incredible birds in action.
- Hands-on Animal Encounters – meet and learn about a variety of animals.
- Clay Modelling Activity – create something together as a group.
- Sustainable Woodcraft – help create a collaborative Totem Pole display.
- Tough Runner Obstacle Course – take on a fun physical challenge.
- Orienteering Course – test navigation and teamwork skills.
- Samba Drumming – enjoy a high-energy rhythm and music experience.
This exclusive programme provides another great reason not to worry about fitting everything into Saturday.

🪩 Friday Night – Welcome Event & Disco
On Friday evening, Cubs and Brownies will enjoy their own exclusive welcome event and disco.
- A great opportunity to settle into the site.
- Meet other Cubs and Brownies from across Cheshire.
- Music, fun and energy to kick-start the weekend.
- Designed especially for Mini-Chamboree Weekend participants.
🎇 Saturday Night – Opening Ceremony
Cubs and Brownies will join the entire Chamboree camp for the Opening Ceremony.
- A shared experience with all sections on site.
- A chance to feel part of something bigger.
- An unforgettable Chamboree moment.
- Sets the tone for the rest of the event.
🎭 Fancy Dress
There will be opportunities for fancy dress across the weekend.
Leaders are encouraged to:
- Check the event handbook and website resources.
- Look out for any themed activities or events.
- Encourage young people to take part if they wish.
Fancy dress always adds to the atmosphere and is often one of the highlights of the weekend.
