Overview
These arrival instructions are designed to help section leaders, they will be in place for all Participant arrival times:
- Friday 7th Aug, 16:00 - 19:00: Chamboree Mini Weekend
- Saturday 8th Aug, 14:00 - 17:00: Chamboree
- Tuesday 11th Aug, 16:00 - 17:00: Chamboree Mini Day + Overnight
- Wednesday 12th Aug, 09:00 - 09:30: Chamboree Mini Day
Arrival Flow
Participant Drop Off Passes
This pass should be sent to all young people/leaders who are being dropped off. It is signified by a large ‘P’ and will ensure they are directed to the short stay carpark. This should be folded and displayed in the windscreen so it is clearly visible to marshals
IMPORTANT
It is essential for the flow of traffic and to ensure you are parked in the correct location and that you display passes clearly.
All participant access will be via the main Cheshire Showground Entrance (gate7) Please follow the directions in the handbook do not follow sat nav or your own local knowledge.
Participant Drop Off passes have been sent via email to the lead contact for your section’s booking and should be distributed by them
Leader & Equipment Passes
Leaders/Adults Parking Pass
This pass should be sent to all your leaders / adults who will be staying on site and leaving a car. It is signified by a large ‘S’ This should be folded and displayed in the windscreen so it is clearly visible to marshals.
Equipment drop off Vehicle Pass
This pass is used for vehicles that have equipment that you would like to deliver/collect to or from your campsite for setting up and breaking down. It is signified by a large ‘U’ It is only valid with a ‘permit number’ which you must write on. Unique permit numbers will be provided to you in advance of Chamboree, the number of codes you receive will be directly linked to the number of campers in your group. For the safety of all onsite it is essential that we minimise the number of vehicles on the camping areas use of the codes will be monitored and abuse of this pass will not be tolerated
Leader & Equipment passes are sent via email to the lead contact for your section’s booking
Wristbands
Access to the Chamboree site (excl parking/arrival areas) will be controlled by wristband. Your participation type dictates the wristband colour.

Arrival Questions
Please attempt one journey if possible, you will need to leave additional kit and make multiple journeys (scanning out and back in each time)
Yes - please co-ordinate for what works for you and follow instructions on the day
Please keep hold of their wristband and barcode. You will need to meet them at the entrance on their arrival
If you know in advance of the event, please let us know through the [email protected] email address. If not known in advance, please keep hold of their wristband and barcode and pass to your sub camp team for use as spares
We will issue them with a wristband at the vehicle gate – please return their spare wristband to sub camp team
Return to entrance at date/time of current wristband expiration, scan out, put new wristband on and scan in.
Completion of the form ensures that your wristband will be in Chamboree Mini Weekend's Pack
Please attend station 4 help desk with as few people as needed
Yes, specific parking will be available for blue badge holders.
