At Chamboree 2026, our International Service Team (IST) are the engine that keeps the camp running smoothly. As Staff Support & Safety Lead, you’ll make sure our volunteers feel welcomed, valued, and prepared for the adventure ahead.
You’ll take the lead on:

Recruitment & Deployment – helping to build a strong IST team and ensuring everyone finds the right role to shine.

Registration & Training – from first sign-up to on-site inductions, you’ll give volunteers the tools and confidence they need.

Communication & Engagement – keeping staff informed through online channels, briefings, and updates that bring everyone together.

IST Sub-Camp – creating a supportive, fun space where staff can relax, recharge, and build friendships.
This role is about people as much as process. You’ll play a huge part in making sure every volunteer feels safe, supported, and part of something special. Your work will set the tone for the staff experience and ensure Chamboree is not only memorable for participants, but also rewarding for the hundreds of volunteers who make it possible.
