CALLING ALL “COSMIC COMMISSIONERS”, “LUNAR LEADERS” AND “VOYAGER VOLUNTEERS”.
CHAMBOREE 2022 NEEDS YOU!
We’re looking for volunteers to fill early positions in our organising team as Activity Zone Managers.
This time we’re looking to make Chamboree even bigger and better than ever before, by building on the success of some amazing activity experiences at previous Chamboree’s. We’re planning on an astronomical return of an exciting mega maze of inflatables, a bumper space themed Science and Technology base and a galactic assortment of adventurous and shooting activities, including many new activities for 2022! But we’re also REALLY excited for an ALL NEW international city experience and an ALL NEW arena experience including cooking challenges for all ages. Not to mention a few lively adjustments to other favourites like our Sport, Survival, Global and Craft zones.
Perhaps you have skills outside Scouting in team management, procurement, logistics, project or budget management. Or, you’re simply excited about the prospect at being part of the driving force of volunteers looking to make Chamboree 2022 an amazing experience for volunteers and participants! Whilst experience of being in a managerial role at a similar large scale Scouting and/or Guiding event would be desirable, we encourage anybody who feels they might have the right skills set and enthusiasm to get in touch.
Have a read of the attached Activity Zone Manager Role Description and fill out the expression of interest form below. Be prepared to let us know any relevant skills and experiences that support your application as an Activity Zone Manager for Chamboree 2022.
For an informal discussion about the role, get in touch with Nick Hirst (Director of Programme) email@example.com
