What should I Wear?

The dress code is “festival chic”, but remember to dress for the weather! The Camper Experience team will be on hand in the morning of the event to get you “festival ready” with glitter, face paints and flag making.

What about food?

The festival doesn’t start until 2pm. We’re encouraging leaders to switch around their hot meal menu and to serve this at lunch time BEFORE the event. Because there’s a non-stop programme at the festival running from 2pm-10pm we’re asking that the fantastic leaders from your unit will organise a picnic meal/packed tea in the evening to be brought to the arena and enjoyed during our “Chill Out” section around 5pm.

Can I bring chairs and shelter to the arena?

We realise that some of you will want to dance, cheer and jump around all day long and others might need to take a seat. We’d encourage the majority to not bring a chair so that we can keep the arena a free flowing space (if everyone brought a camp chair it’d get rather busy), picnic blankets are welcome. Of course, for those unable to stand for long periods or sit on the floor you’re welcome to bring something more sturdy to sit on! Similarly, the main arena cafe and Faith & Beliefs “sea of tranquility” will be open as well as similar break out areas where people can rest away from the busy schedule.
