Daytime (Activity Zones)

Each day (Monday to Friday) will be divided into half day segments offering you the opportunity to visit two Activity Zones each day. During this five day period you will have the opportunity to take part in hundreds of activities. The Activity Zones are designed to offer excitement, interest and challenge with plenty of time to meet and make friends.

On-site day Activities run from 09.30 till 12.30 and from 14.00 till 17.00.

Action Zone

A full day action zone for the adrenaline junkie offering both on-land and on-water activities at Cheshire Scouts water activity centre in the magnificent Tatton Park! Water activities to name but a few on offer include, Dragon Boating, Kayaking and Sailing. Land activities include a huge Assault Course, a challenge around Tatton Park and loads of games!

Arena Zone

The Arena Zone offers an exciting half day schedule of Dance, Drama and Music workshops, games and guest performers. There is also the opportunity to drop in to this Zone at any time during Chamboree to chill out and enjoy socialising with friends.

Energy Zone

Got energy to unleash? This is the place for you, at the Fun capital of Chamboree containing the Inflatable Village, Zorbing on the Water, Science Experiments, Circus Skills and much more!

Global Zone

Learn about Global issues while participating in a wide range of activities - everything from building a shaduf to sampling food from around the world, building wells to give clean water in Zambia to emergency aid for victims of disasters. There will be a range of craft activities to try in our authentic Native American tipis! On this Zone Scouts will have the opportunity to gain their Global Challenge badge and work towards their Craft Badge.

Olympia Zone

Become a Chamboree Olympian right on-site, test your sporting and mental skills to the max and maybe you will break the Chamboree record. On this Zone Cubs Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts will all have the opportunity to gain their Athlete Badge. Activities are based around an Olympic track and include many of the favourite track & field events and games, plus it plays home to Mount Olympia our new fantastic Climbing tower.

Power Zone

Aim and fire is the theme of this base giving you the chance to shoot rifles, try your hand at golf, archery, quasar shooting and more.

Skill Zone

Get back to basics with traditional Scouting skills including backwoods cooking and pioneering. Scouts will be able to gain their Pioneering badge here!

Urban Zone

A haven for the Urban Scout, get yourself up to date and enjoy the day. Take air on the skate park, speak to the world by radio, create a camp rap and make music! On this Zone Scouts can gain your Communication Badge (Option A) here.
