Explorer Scouts

On Saturday once you have set up camp they are invited to join the Chamboree Challenge from noon onwards which will be a Ready, Steady, Cook competition. Sunday has a number of very special elements to the day starting with our Sunrise Ceremony and Scouts Own, after which the Explorers will be bussed off-site to Forest Camp Activity Centre to take part in a CSI Crime Scene Investigation and other Activities put on by Cheshire Police. Explorer Scouts will be in their own Activity group for the Activity Zones Monday - Friday, each Zone will be "beefed up" for them.  You can find out full details about the Explorer Scout programme by clicking here.

CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) Cheshire

A special day using facilities not normally available to Scouts but used by Cheshire Police for Team Building and crime scene investigation. Explorer Scouts will try to solve a crime involving body parts and a host of clues! This is a unique opportunity to work with members of Cheshire Police including a real insight to how they solve crimes. Amongst other things prepare for DNA testing! Explorer Scouts will need to take lunch with them to Forest Camp, hot drinks will be provided and they will also need at least 2 changes of clothes and a towel(there will be plenty of ACTION).
